THE LEARNING ARM OF THE COLLECTIVE LEGACY
FALL/WINTER 2026-2027
LE CATALOGUE DE LA RENTRÉE
Every organization gets a first day.
September feels like an expansive new beginning. What follows is a season of learning that build on itself, lesson by lesson, until it opens possibilities your team carries for years. We help make that beginning matter.
I remember there was always a very special newsprint that I was always excited to bring home every September. The paper was thin and bright, the type was super small, there were what felt like hundreds of titles on a page, and I always had a pencil ready to circle everything that my learning had allowed me to be excited about. What that flyer did beautifully was make learning feel like something to look forward to.
This catalogue is built in the same spirit. Circle what your team needs

01
The Real Org Chart
Le véritable organigramme
A power mapping and intersectional feminist governance intensive
For teams, collectives, departments,
and boards
HALF DAY OR FULL DAY · THE HALF DAY WORKS BEST AS THE OPENING OF A SERIES
I like to say an org chart is as a small container for a much larger living thing, and most often power is moving through lines that it was never built to see. This session will map where power actually travels, who initiates, who shapes what, who signs off, and who only finds out after the direction is already decided, whose expertise gets quietly devalued, and whether the communities you serve have any real input on the decisions that shape their work and their lives. We read the gaps through decolonial and intersectional feminist governance, then turn toward how the work needs to move in response, and together with your team we’ll redesign one mechanism before we’re done, building a muscle you can keep stretching and strengthening on your own.
YOU LEAVE WITH
A power map of your organization you drew together, one change to how decisions move that everyone agreed to, and questions to keep reviewing the rest on your own.
Your team, collective, department, or board inherited a way of working instead of designing it on purpose and if the answer to why is that it has just always been that way.

The Cost of Asking
Le prix de la question
Building consultation that holds
For teams, collectives, departments,
and boards
HALF DAY OR FULL DAY · ADAPTABLE INTO SERIES STRONGEST WITH DECISION-MAKERS IN THE ROOM
Consultations cost the people you ask to take part in them, time, memory, knowledge, and the trouble of saying the hard thing. They cost you too, in the plans you will have to change and the answers you will have to act on. Organizations that don’t budget for that cost pay another one. Your team learns that asking is for show, your community learns that you never really listen, and you lose some of the most valuable data available to you. This session builds engagement worth taking part in, along with the pathways the knowledge itself travels, so it lands in a system that can hold it, with people who can act on it, on a timeline that keeps it alive.
YOU LEAVE WITH
Shared agreements on how you will ask, listen, and report back, a home for what people share, and a record of what changed because they did.

You’re about to run a consultation and want to see through its transformational power or you are still wondering why the last one fell short of what you hoped.
03
Evaluation Is Authorship
L’évaluation écrit l’histoire
A conversation about who writes the story of your work
For MEAL teams, program leads, partners, and the communities your work serves.
FULL DAY OR TWO SESSION LAB WITH DESIGN WORK BETWEEN · CO-EVALUATORS AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS WELCOME, RESOURCED AND COMPENSATED
What you choose to evaluate is a vote towards the future you are building. The questions you ask decide what matters, and the findings become the record that shapes what comes next, so evaluation writes the story of your work and of the people in it. Too often, communities become evidence and someone else’s name goes on the result. This session brings your team, your partners, and the communities your work touches into the conversation to decide together which questions matter, who is credited as an author, and who hears the findings first. We draw on our evaluation as restitution approach, and the group sets its own agreements for the next evaluation it runs.
YOU LEAVE WITH
Shared agreements for your next evaluation: the questions you chose together, how authorship and credit are shared, and who hears the findings first.

04
Repair Is a System
La réparation est un système
A conversation about how your group meets conflict, harm, and change.
For leadership and people and culture teams, and whole teams ready to do this together
HALF DAY OR THREE SESSION SERIES · CONFLICT, MECHANISM AUDIT, POLICY REBUILD · BEST IN PERSON
Your organization keeps adopting new policies, frameworks, and new language for the same old problems, because adoption is the easy part. Without a practice people trust, a junior team member or a community member can rarely rely on words in a file somewhere lost in the sharepoint when faced with someone holding more power. This session brings folks into the conversation it has been avoiding: how you disagree, where harm gets into the way you work together, from complaints that stall to reviews that reward fitting in to restructuring delivered like a birthday surprise, and what repair looks like here. Trauma-informed practice moves out of the training room and into how the group works every day. We work on how the group works together.
An audit on where your system produces harm, one policy rebuilt so it can survive being used, a named conflict pattern, and a disagreement protocol for your team that you understand and agreed on
YOU LEAVE WITH
You’re managing a restructuring, responding to a safeguarding requirement, or repairing after harm has already happened.

Before You Automate
Avant d’automatiser
A conversation about what must stay human.
For leadership teams, policy drafters, and funders setting requirements
AI is making its way into organizations faster than the conversations about it, and the questions that are being posed as procurement decisions are actually power questions like, whose labour gets automated, whose data is feeding the tools, and who gets to decide. This session gives your team the conversation it has not had yet. Together you look at how work actually moves, where automation has already entered, and who it affects, including the communities on the other side of your services. Then the group decides what has to remain human, where a tool could genuinely serve, and on what terms it comes in. We come as facilitators and leave the technology to the tech experts. What we hold is the room where your folks decide, together, what stays human.
HALF DAY OR FULL DAY · ADAPTABLE INTO A SERIES
The red lines your team set together, the questions you agreed to ask of any new tool, and a shared stance on what stays human.

The Stories We Run On
Les récits qui nous portent
For whole teams, communications staff, and program leads.
Decolonial storytelling as an internal practice.
THRE SESSION SERIES
Your organization tells stories all day long. In the start of the week update, the funder report, how a team member describes a community member to someone who has never met them. Most of it happens in a way that your team inherited, where the professional voice flattens what people know, keeps complexity out, and quietly decides which kind of knowing counts as evidence. Decolonial storytelling starts inside, because when a team can’t tell itself the truth they definitely won’t be able to do so in a report or a comms product. This session builds the spaces where the fuller story gets told, and then follows what that opens up, the analysis sitting in someone’s experience that never made it into a plan, the perspective the deck voice erased, the possibilities a team can only reach once it has the language for what it actually knows.
A named account of how your organization currently talks about its work and the people in it a storytelling practice your team can run at meetings and retreats, and revised language for one thing you publish.
YOU LEAVE WITH
The most useful things anyone said this year stayed in closed door post meeting debriefs usually held among the staff that never gets heard.
