Equity built into the operating system. Not added on top of it.
At The Collective Legacy we build systems
that lead and legacies worth inheriting.
We partner with nonprofits, public agencies, and mission-driven institutions ready to stop performing equity and start building it into the architecture of their organizations. Strategy. Governance. Culture. The systems beneath the statements.
Our work starts where performative DEI ends. Where the consulting industry has trained leaders to treat equity as a compliance task, we treat it as a design principle: a technology for change that can hold the weight of what your mission actually demands.
Our Why
In a world that is recalibrating at warp speed, institutions built for yesterday are quickly buckling under tomorrow’s weight. We exist to hard-wire equity into those institutions so they can evolve instead of erode and lead instead of lag.
Our How
We blend systemic design, strategic facilitation, and organizational psychology to move equity from aspiration to operating system. Every engagement is built around your context, grounded in evidence, and accountable to the communities your work touches.
Our Values
Radical Imagination We prototype futures worth inheriting.
Collective Courage We invite discomfort as a catalyst for breakthrough.
Rigorous Care We match bold ideas with meticulous execution.
Accountable Joy We celebrate progress while measuring impact.
Our four-phase approach: Discovery. Design. Implementation. Integration. Explore the full method on our services page.

Message From
Our Founder Leila
“The most visionary, resilient, and future-ready communities across the world and throughout history have always harnessed equity as a powerful technology.”
I’ve spent my career exploring at the crossroads of innovation and justice, guiding organizations that are brave enough to ask, “What if equity were built into our very code?”
From nonprofit corridors to public-sector boardrooms, I’ve seen one constant, when equity graduates from a token checkbox to a design principle, transformation stops being aspirational and becomes inevitable. Systems bend toward durability, teams meet disruption with grace, and bold ideas have room to take root.
Over the years I’ve had the privilege of wearing many hats, as a strategist, facilitator, and organizational designer. But the focus of my craft has been, turning ambitious intentions into living, breathing infrastructures, structures that make innovation sustainable and not seasonal. I bring a global perspective, an intersectional lens, and a practice rigorously rooted in care.
But titles aside, I’m here because I believe our futures depend on daring, collaborations ones that trade performative DEI for equity-powered systems thinking. Together, we can architect organizations that don’t just keep pace with change, they propel it.
I’m honoured to build that future with you. Let’s get to work.
